Egypt - Cairo 2019
I traveled to Egypt from the last week of October until the first week of November 2019 with my parents.
Once I arrived in Egypt for the first time and found our tour guide at the Airport (It was a little bit difficult because they don't speak a lot of English or Spanish, and their letters are different), we went to settle in the hotel Hilton. The next morning we ate breakfast in the hotel buffet and then we went to Giza Pyramids. Our tour guide explained to us that probably there, a lot of people can ask for photos because we look different from what they usually see, for example, they wear robes and women hide their hair when they are away from home since they are children, and so it was, many children ask you for photographs when they see you.
the pyramids are so big that when we came on the plane we could identify them. There were a lot of people but that didn't bother me because being there was a dream. Because of some looters, there was an open space inside some pyramids which you could enter if you paid extra. Upon entering, the climb was narrow and although there was not much inside, the energy felt was powerful, I felt that many things had happened there.
In Egypt, They allow you to ride a camel for an additional fee. With my parents we decided to do it as it would be a unique experience. There is also a small museum near the pyramids you can enter.
We also went to see the 1st Pyramid ever did. This one is different than the pyramids we use to draw. This is called Djoser Pyramid or Step Pyramid. After that, we went to a place where they do and sell carpets. They were really beautiful and special, the textures were really good so if you have the opportunity to go there, carry a lot of money with you. If you don't, you are going to regret it.
In the night we went to see a light's performance to the pyramids. It's a nice way to finish your day.
Even if I can tell you about the world, the best experience is live it by yourself. Have fun!
Tips:
- Wearing sunglasses helped me a lot to be able to see clearly since the sun was strong and prevented the sand from entering my eyes with the wind.
- If you get on a camel, hold tight when they get up.
